Hitotsubashi University, School of Commerce and Management

Hitotsibashi University was founded in 1949; however, the university’s origins lay in the Institute for Business Training founded in 1875 and, also, the Tokyo Commercial School founded in 1920. Since before the Second World War, the university was business education-based and actively recruited foreign instructors. This tradition of internationalization continues today.
